Custom Chalets are probably the most often built homes in the area.

Spring deliveries can be tricky, with snow often being a factor - and mud always an issue.
Windows came with this package due to a special order color that has since been added to the list of regular colors - Brick Red.
Just a few short weeks later, and this home is really starting to take shape.  The design for this home was done by the owner, who kept modifying it to allow for things like kitchen appliances!
All the accents in this home - inside and out - are round log.  The railings for the porches,  decks and interior loft & stairs are all round.
From the outside, this home appears massive,
but in reality it is only about 2200 square feet.
The porches add tremendously to the width
of this home - and to the outdoor enjoyment.
They originally thought they would find a special door, but ended up coming back to us and picking out this beautiful stained glass door with two full sidelights as their entry door.
A quick peak inside starts in the master suite which makes up the entire upstairs.  Lots of light, lots of space and lots of cloests.
It even boasts it's own outside balcony.
The view from the loft is spectacular, even
though the pictures don't do it justice.
The round beams in the ceiling of the kitchen carry the wood theme into the downstairs without getting too dark.  It's important to remember that all wood
ceilings and walls can become darker over time and wood absorbs light, it does not reflect it.
The outside is nearly done - the stain has been
applied and the landscaping is beginning.  Typically, it will take about two years to "mature" to what most of us might consider  "finished."  Of course, the time it takes depends on your schedule and funding.
These are photos of two homes - both of similar design - in two different locations.  Access to the front of one is possible, but not possible with the other - so it's like having the best of both worlds for me to be able to show you how each of them look even when I can't get the picture!
Above is one home, to the left is the other.
They are both identical in size and shape.
What is different is the interior and how many bedrooms each has.
The covered entry done for both these homes allows for driveup comfort under the old fashioned portico and ensures dry guests when they come to visit!  One home chose a sidelight and 1/2 glass door.  The other home chose a double door to allow easier access for large items.
Both of the homes have full decking - 10' out and side to side.  Each also has the full 10' sliding doors which have become so popular as the two center sections open out to allow for more air flow.
The home at right offers one of the nicest views known in this area!  What's nice about this home is that the view is the same whether you are in the living room, the master bedroom suite or the guest room.  The loft offers even more!
Note how the fixed glass for each of these homes was done differently.  There is no right or wrong - it's all personal preference.
The full walkout basement with garage under the one home is just what was available because of the access to the house on the land.  Again, it's not always possible to do this at every site - nor does every homeowner want to have a basement garage.
We also offer beautiful Rustic Red & White Cedar & Pine Furniture for both the indoors and outdoors.

Some interior shots give you an idea of how you might want to finish your home!
It's always fun to see the inside - but that usually comes after a little while!
The fireplace for this home is shared by the master bedroom.  The master bedroom (right) has a totally different look for the fireplace - and fits in the motive of the room.
Now that you've seen some of these - when do you plan to start your dream home?
We have two more similar homes currently under construction  - delivered in late 2010 and mid 2011.
Pictures of these homes will be posted as soon as possible.
If you are really curious, please visit our office for a look at the plans for each of these new
homes.  They are larger than the pictures above - and offer some very different
ideas along with attached and free-standing garage packages.
